Welcome to MyPasswords. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MyPasswords mobile application ("App"), provided by MyApps ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, strictly in accordance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. User Responsibilities

As MyPasswords is a 100% offline application, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Data Security: You are solely responsible for the security and management of the data you store within the App. All your data is stored locally and encrypted on your device. We have no access to it.
  • PIN Management: You are solely responsible for remembering your numerical PIN. This PIN is the master key to decrypt your data.
  • Data Backup: You are responsible for creating and maintaining your own backups of your App data. We do not provide any cloud backup or sync services.

Crucial: No PIN Recovery

For your ultimate security and privacy, we have no ability to recover or reset your PIN if you forget it. Losing your PIN will result in the permanent loss of access to your data.

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm us or any third party. You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the App.
  • Use the App to store data related to illegal activities.
  • Sell, rent, lease, or redistribute the App.
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

4. Intellectual Property

The App, including its name, logo, design, and all related intellectual property, are the exclusive property of MyApps. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or intellectual property except for the limited license to use the App.

5. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, opportunities, or reputation, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss resulting from a forgotten PIN, device failure, or accidental deletion.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license to use the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You can terminate these Terms at any time by deleting the App and all its data from your device.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
